Experience

2–5 years of experience in mechanical design

Skills

  • Proficient in 3D design software, preferably SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Understanding of standards, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Strong expertise in plastic design, drawing, and tool manufacturing
  • Testing knowledge: Ingress Protection, vibration, impact standards
  • Understanding of thermal simulation concepts
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes, electroplating, powder coating
  • Experience in plastic sampling and manufacturing planning

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Product concept generation in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Prototyping, testing, and generating part drawings for tool design and manufacturing
  • Designing plastic and sheet metal parts with expertise
  • Experience in VFD/Switchgear industry
